Outreach and educational work.
Each year we increase our outreach and educational programs, Local schools, country clubs, festivals, even hotels and restaurants, anywhere we can meet people and introduce them to ex racehorses.  We host clinics here and at the local Equestrian campground.    In 2017 we hosted our first, low cost, microchip clinic!

We travel with the horses, to show how great an off track thoroughbred is, including Rural King, the Pioneer Museum at Robert’s Ranch, The Ridgewood Cafe, Marco Island Country Club, Momentum Brewhouse, Cycle Barn, Mercato, Hyatt Coconut Point, Bonita Academy, Sheriff’s Night out (Collier County), the Ritz,  churches, parks and community events. Contact us if you would like to host our horses at your venue!

Compassionate Care and Riding
Our comprehensive program to educate the public on better and kinder ways to interact with horses.  LOTS of programs for kids!  These build confidence and focus and encourage kids to be independent.

You will find a lot of information on our site so please take a look around and contact us w any questions!  Email is tracktotrailthoroughbreds@gmail.com

I think it is criminal that people adopt these beautiful animals, get what they want out of them and them dump them back on you. Thank God you do take them back, I hope you charge a return fee.
The picture of the horse found in Miami is heartbreaking.
I have 3 OTTB and love them dearly!
Thank you so much for what you do for these horses!

The work you are doing is amazing! I have worked with special needs children for over 25 years, and the programs you have for children is so very therapeutic for the horses and the children! I would love to volunteer.

Is Ariel B still available? I was around her some in her youth. She was the fastest thoroughbred filly I’ve ever seen for anywhere between a quarter and a half mile, including How Rare, Meafara or Safely Kept. I would love to bring her to Kentucky and try to breed her to a Kentucky sire
with no Storm Cat blood and was always sound, something Ariel, her mama, her granny and great granny really never were. Her breeder was a smart man, but kinda put a lot of stock into trying to catch the “x factor ” gene by linebreeding to Secretariat. I come from a different school of thought. I would love to make a great home for this amazing mare if she’s still available and you believe her injuries that nearly killed her would be worsened by pregnancy

    1. By chance do you have any photos of her in her younger years? She was returned to us but adopted out again and is now living w one of our former volunteers and two of our other horses in TN! Shes doing really well! She is just an amazing. mare.

    Hi
I volunteer at Just Horse’n Around
(Lake Panasoffkee FL). I just moved to the Ocala area in May.
They have 52 horses and it’s a loving, kind, clean environment for so many. I don’t know the back story on the horses, but
I’m helping a horse that was owner surrendered. No food, starving etc
It’s been a couple of years and he is coming along. A Belgian Draft horse (my estimation) oversees him like a big brother.
Anyway, I share your passion in every way.
I rode for 8 years through Naples Therapeutic Riding Center, and am so very grateful for my time with them. I gave 12 horses Reiki treatments an entire summer.
I’ve been a Reiki and massage therapist
(Holistic Health Practitioner, San Diego trained) since 1987.
I pray to have a career working with horses one day soon. They speak to my heart and I’m able to share helpful information regarding their emotions and history.
Perhaps we will meet one day.
God bless you for saving those powerful equine souls…
    Faith Holmes
