When you support rescue you support the tough cases Some horses are not meant for the average home. Whether it is because of very difficult or expensive medical issues, because of behavioral issues, lack of training. Sometimes a horse needs much more than a typical home can provide. The hope is that they can over come this and then be suitable for a home.

Danceonthemoney is one of those cases – he didn’t have many options but look at him be such a good boy!

Cash the Giraffe got a little ride last night He was so happy to be doing a thing. Working w the tarp was no big deal. He loves to play w it.. He played w the ball a bit too. Just happy to do some stuff w the person who loves him.

When he initially came to us he was a really bad kicker. Put the guy from a transport company in the hospital w broken ribs from a double barrel kick. Had a bad problem here his first 6 months or so We used to call him Cash the kicker. He’s reformed. Now we call him Cash the Giraffe.

He sustained a fractured sesamoid while in training so is “unraced”

He’s a non sweater so spends a good chunk of the year in front of a fan and under misters so working w him is hard as he just overheats. This was around 7:30 last night w cloud cover and a touch of breeze. that is water on his forehead – he got some w a sponge before his short work out.
